Hawk Arrow Springs encompasses 204 acres of woods and fields that feature several natural springs, a few of which are being transformed into spring-fed swimming pools. Live music will be performed all weekend and artists will paint and create throughout the event grounds. The event will also feature workshops, activities for kids and vendors.

St. Clair has planned a weekend-long festival that begins on Friday with a space-themed parade at 7 p.m. and ends on Eclipse Day, which will include viewing stations throughout town staffed with “solar ambassadors.” The Old Bus Stop Art Gallery will host an art show and an antique sale, and the St. Clair Historical Museum will host speakers and a special display. Saturday includes a Bluegrass Festival at Orchard Park, and an Eclipse Worship Service will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday in the field behind St. Clair United Methodist Church.

Parking is permitted anywhere else in town. If conditions permit, parking for eclipse observers will be allowed on two of the grassy fields of the recreation area. The J. On Monday, listen to find out if the pines whisper during the total eclipse. A tent will be set up in the field at the park entrance for shade, but bring your own lawn chair for seating. Sign up for a guided total eclipse hike to the highest point in the park in the Whispering Pines Wild Area. Only 20 spots are available. Participants must preregister for this free event.
