Updated for 2023

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start of summer, and most area public pools are gearing up to open this weekend. Some pools, such as the Heman Park pool in University City and the McNair pool in St. Charles are undergoing repairs and may or may not open this season.

While you may have a favorite pool in your neighborhood or city, our pool guide covers only pool complexes that are open to nonresidents. Pools in places like the city of St. Louis are open but only to residents. Let us know if we missed something by emailing Amy Bertrand.

Look for a pool complex that suits your fancy, relax with a book poolside or take a plunge down a slide. We hope to ease your search for summer fun.
