Tacony Corporation specializes in the distribution and marketing of products in the sewing, home and commercial floor care and ceiling fan industries. We also work to bring more jobs home and manufacture high quality vacuums in St. James, Mo., and Fort Worth. Our mission is to profitably grow our leadership position in the industries we serve creating success for our customers, our associates and all others that depend upon us.
Benefits
Our family culture is probably the benefit most often cited by our associates since it is central to our daily operations. Our most distinctive benefit is our pension and profit-sharing plan. All associates working more than 1,000 hours/year participate. The company puts in all the money; the company's contribution is not limited to a corporate match percentage. Last year, the company's contribution toward our retirement was 13 percent of each eligible associate's gross pay for the year.
