Year in Review

We rolled into 2016 with historic flooding on the Meramec River, the Rams still in St. Louis, the Dow about to plummet and pundits warning that Donald Trump would be the ruin of the Republican party.

As we roll out of the year, the floodwaters have subsided, the Dow has hit record highs, the Rams are gone but not forgotten and the Republicans are ready to govern after sweeping the November elections. What happened in between? We invite you to take a look back at the highs and lows of the year.

The state turned redder after the November elections, the Rams left town and broke fans' hearts, an odd shooting leads to murder charges against a woman already linked to other suspicious deaths. The year also saw a political dynasty crumble, and a major government agency make a decision to stay in the city.
