George Simpson

George Simpson, 45, was fatally shot near North 13th Street and Cass Avenue on Thursday, police said. Officers responded to a shooting call around 4 p.m. at the gas station at 1513 North 13th Street, and found Simpson dead. Officers said he had been shot during a dispute over money. Police said Simpson was shot after he pointed a gun at another man. The shooter was known and remained at the location, police said.
