Kelly Grindstaff

St. Peters police on May 14 found 58-year-old Kelly Grindstaff, of Versailles, Missouri, lying unconscious with injuries to his head and face, at a house in the first block of Bartley Street owned by Blake P.L. English, 26. Grindstaff later died at Mercy Hospital. English told investigators he confronted Grindstaff in the street because he thought Grindstaff had stolen his clothes and was texting his girlfriend, according to court documents. Officials wrote English punched Grindstaff in the face twice, knocking him unconscious with the second blow.
