A St. Peters woman accused of strangling her adult daughter told police she killed her as part of a suicide pact, according to charges filed. Donna J. Scuderi, 69, of the 200 block of Jody Drive, was charged with first-degree murder in the asphyxiation death of her 39-year-old daughter, Laura Scuderi, at their St. Peters home. The husband told police he had been working out in the basement at the time, did not realize his wife and daughter were upstairs and heard no signs of a struggle, charges say.
