Mark Burton

Mark Burton, 46, was shot and killed around 5 p.m. Wednesday in the city’s Baden neighborhood, police said. The next day, prosecutors charged a 24-year-old man with killing Burton. Court documents say Courtlend D. Green, of the 1500 block of Switzer Avenue, was caught on surveillance cameras, along with another person, in a shootout with Burton. The second man, Randall O. Jackson, 28, of the 6800 block of Primrose Avenue in Pagedale, was charged in connection to the killing in May 2022.
