Alexzandria Bell

Student Alexzandria Bell was killed by 19-year-old Orlando Harris in a classroom at Central Visual and Performing Arts and Collegiate School of Medicine and Bioscience near Tower Grove Park. Harris, a former student, burst into the school and fatally shot teacher Jean Kuczka, 61, and Bell, 15. Seven others were injured. Police stormed the school building within minutes, confronting and killing Harris in a third-floor classroom. Bell, a sophomore, loved art and was constantly smiling, friends and a teacher said. "We love Alexzandria, she was so colorful, so bright, so diligent, so sassy," said Kacy Sahid, CVPA principal, at Bell's funeral. "And she would let you know, she was everything that embodied a Central Visual and Performing Arts student. She was creative, she was outspoken, she was bold and she was bright."
