Clarence Jefferson

A man was wounded in north St. Louis in the late afternoon, and died several days later. Homicide detectives are investigating the death, which was reported around 5:30 p.m. in the 5900 block of Lucille Avenue. The scene is in the Walnut Park West neighborhood. Clarence Jefferson, 39, was standing with three others when several people began firing shots at them. No one else was injured, but Jefferson died on May 30.
