Two men died in an apparent murder-suicide outside a Wildwood bar. The owner said one of the victims was a relative and first-timer there. Cheryl Quick said her husband’s cousin, Jason Skiles, 40, of Hillsboro, was shot to death on the parking lot of Larry’s Tavern, 16833 Manchester Road. Police publicly confirmed his identity Wednesday afternoon. According to St. Louis County police, the suspected shooter, Darren Jaycox, 51, of Wildwood, then shot himself in an apparent murder-suicide about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Sgt. Tracy Panus of St. Louis County police said the men got into a fight on the parking lot. Investigators believe Jaycox shot Skiles, then himself, Panus said. They both died there.
