Samantha Washington

Samantha Washington, 17, of St. Ann, was a passenger in a 2002 Toyota Avalon that was struck by a speeding Cadillac about 9:20 p.m. on March 13, 2022, just outside Bellefontaine Cemetery. Washington was thrown out of the Toyota from the impact of the crash. She died of her injuries. The Avalon's driver, a 28-year-old man, was injured in the crash. Police arrested a 24-year-old man suspected of driving the stolen Cadillac and causing the deadly wreck at West Florissant and Shreve avenues. Prosecutors charged Arrieon Dreshaun Watson with second-degree murder, leaving the scene of an accident and resisting arrest. Watson lives in the 1200 block of Baden Avenue in St. Louis.
