Tyron Madison, 30, was found shot in the chest about 11:15 p.m. in the 5200 block of Ridge Avenue, in the city's Academy neighborhood. He was taken to a hospital, where he died. A woman was also shot in the foot and is expected to recover, police said. Jalen L. Jarrett, 29, of the 4400 block of Lexington Avenue, was charged later with second-degree murder and armed criminal action. Authorities said Jarrett fatally shot his romantic partner's brother during an argument over car keys.
