Andreaia Worthem

Andreaia Worthem, 53, was found shot and killed early on July 7 in an alley in the 4400 block of Kennerly Avenue in The Ville neighborhood of St. Louis. Prosecutors charged Worthem's son, Andrew C. Hubbard, 37, with conspiring with his cousin and another man to kill Worthem to cash in a life insurance policy. Hubbard faces charges of murder-for-hire and conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire alongside Justin R. Lee, 37, of Northwoods, and Eric Washington, 45, of Jennings, in the killing. Investigators say cellphone records showed Worthem had been communicating with her son, Hubbard; her nephew, Washington; and Lee between the evening of July 6 and the morning of July 7, when she was killed, according to court documents. Her last call was to Lee. Cell tower records also showed the phones of all three men being near Worthem’s home, where she was found dead.
