Barry Martin

Barry Martin, 46, was accidentally shot and killed in an SUV by his driver during a road rage incident on Christmas Eve on Interstate 70 in St. Louis. Martin was shot in the leg just before 10 p.m. Sunday by 51-year-old Angelo McNeal, according to charging documents, while McNeal was trying to shoot at another vehicle. McNeal was driving, and Martin was in the passenger seat. McNeal pulled off the interstate near the 5900 block of Lillian Avenue, in the city's Walnut Park West neighborhood. Martin was pronounced dead at a hospital, and McNeal was taken into custody and charged with second-degree murder, two counts of armed criminal action, unlawful possession of a firearm, and shooting a firearm at/from a vehicle. Martin lived in the 7600 block of Alger Avenue on the edge of Bel-Ridge and Bel-Nor.
