Dariyah Lathan

Dariyah Lathan was identified as the victim by St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr. Belleville police were called just after 6:30 p.m. to the first block of South 88th Street, and when officers arrived, Lathan was already en route to a hospital by private vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police did not release more information about the circumstances of the shooting, but they said they do not believe a suspect is at-large.
