Donta Stone

A man was fatally shot early Sunday morning in the Gravois Park neighborhood of St. Louis while trying to rob a couple. The incident took place near the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and Potomac Street just after 3 a.m. Sunday. Officers responding to a 911 call found Stone with a gunshot wound to his neck. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police said that Stone was shot by a man he was attempting to rob. The man then called police to respond to the shooting.
