Jaylen I. Woods

MADISON — A double shooting left one person dead Tuesday afternoon in Madison. Jaylen I. Woods, 19, was killed around 1 p.m. in the 1700 block of Edwardsville Road. Police found him lying in the back yard of a home with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The other person shot was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening. The case is being investigated by the Major Case Squad, a group of regional investigators.
