Jordan Harris

Prosecutors on Tuesday charged a 43-year-old man with fatally beating his boyfriend in the city's Dutchtown neighborhood. Robert E. Bunger is facing charges of second-degree murder and third-degree assault in the death of 44-year-old Jordan Harris on June 28. Police said Bunger was caught on video kicking and hitting Harris in the 3400 block of Montana Avenue. Harris was taken to a hospital where he later died. The St. Louis Medical Examiner's Office found Harris died from stress and physical injuries from the beating, according to a probable cause statement. Authorities said Bunger should have known that Harris had medical problems that may have made him especially vulnerable.
