Justin Welch

Justin Welch, 35, was shot dead Friday morning at a shopping center in north St. Louis County. Police were called around 11:15 a.m. to the 11600 block of West Florissant Avenue, where they found Welch shot inside a barbershop. He died at a hospital. Welch lived on McNulty Drive in Florissant. Nolan-Ryan Thomas, 31, of the 10700 block of Wheeling Court, was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the case. Thomas is accused of walking into E-Clazz Salon, at 11635 West Florissant Avenue in the Greystone Plaza shopping center, getting into an argument with the customer, then punching and shooting him.
