Ki'shaela Wellington

A woman was shot dead early Friday, police said. Officers responding to a shooting shortly after 5 a.m. near the intersection of North Kingshighway and Martin Luther King Drive found a woman shot in the head, police said. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police on Saturday identified her as Ki'shaela Wellington, 20, of the 4900 block of Leahy Avenue. The scene was on the edge of the Kingsway East and Kingsway West neighborhoods.
