Marvin Powers

A man died in a double shooting about 3:30 a.m. March 22, 2023, in the 1200 block of Kingshighway in Washington Park. The St. Louis Medical Examiner's Office said the victim, Marvin Powers, was pronounced dead Wednesday morning at St. Louis University Hospital. Powers was 31 years old. Powers' address or hometown were not available. No details were released about the condition of the second person who was shot. Illinois State Police have not said if they have a suspect in the case.
