Myyo Lanos

Police on Monday identified the man who was found dead in the street late Friday afternoon in Velda City. Myyo Lanos, 18, had been shot during an altercation with another man, according to St. Louis County police. Velda City officers responded to a call about 5:20 p.m. and found Lanos in the 7000 block of Glenmore Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the scene; the shooter fled. Lanos lived in the 3100 block of Lucas and Hunt Road in Velda City, police said. Velda City police turned the case over to St. Louis County detectives, who are investigating.
