A man is dead following a shooting at a QuikTrip Saturday night in Hazelwood. Hazelwood police responded to a report of shots fired at a gas station at the 7400 block of North Lindbergh Boulevard around 10:25 p.m. Upon arrival, police located an 18-year-old man in a vehicle who had been shot. The responding authorities attempted to preform lifesaving measures on the victim before he was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries. According to Hazelwood police, an altercation began between two groups at the QuikTrip. The victim's name has not yet been released by officials. The Hazelwood Police Department Criminal Investigation Team is investigating.
