Police on Wednesday ruled a man's death a homicide after his body was found Tuesday afternoon in a grassy area off the roadway in the Columbia Bottom Conservation Area. North County precinct officers were called to the 12600 block of Columbia Bottom Road just after 2 p.m., police said. The area is near the Columbia Bottom Conservation Area maintenance shop.
