Robert Cook

Two men were found shot to death early Monday inside a car in the 2700 block of Semple Avenue, authorities said. Robert Cook, 30, and Sterling Turner Jr., 43, were found dead about 5:15 a.m. Monday after someone called police to report suspicious occupants of an auto. The scene is in the city's Wells-Goodfellow neighborhood. Homicide detectives with the St. Louis Police Department are handling the investigation. Police have no suspects. Both victims lived in St. Louis. Cook lived in the 700 block of Ponce Avenue and Turner Jr. lived in the 5000 block of Cote Brilliante Avenue.
