Ryan Morton

Robert Palmer, 39, of East St. Louis, was arrested Friday in Hazelwood, said Illinois State Police. He is charged with first-degree murder and unlawful possession of a weapon. Investigators said Palmer shot and killed Ryan Morton, 43, on July 24 at a nightclub in the 600 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard. Morton lived in Cahokia Heights.
