Tyrese L. Owens

Tyrese L. Owens, 21, was found dead in a ditch in Collinsville. The Madison County state’s attorney later filed first-degree murder charges against two Belleville men: Carlos G. Mosley, 23, and Amari O. McGee, 22. Both are being held in the Madison County Jail. Owens was found dead in a ditch on Wednesday morning in the 500 block of Loop Street in Collinsville. Local police asked for the regional group of detectives to handle the investigation. Authorities have not disclosed a possible motive for the killing. Owens had been stabbed.
