Alexcia Ayers

Police said Thursday that Alexcia Ayers, 24, of the 700 block of Carr Street, was the woman shot and killed late Sunday in the city's Columbus Square neighborhood near the Dome at America's Center. Officers were called just before 10 p.m. to an apartment building in the 700 block of Carr, police said. They found a woman who had been shot several times. Police said she was pronounced dead at the scene. Deontai Glasper is accused of killing Ayers.
