CAHOKIA HEIGHTS — A 19-year-old man reported missing from Washington Park was found shot dead here Saturday, police say. Daniel L. Nunn was found fatally shot in Cahokia Heights near Melvin Drive and Lazarcheff Drive, the Major Case Squad of St. Louis said in a news release. Nunn had been reported missing to police in Washington Park, a city about 10 miles northeast of Cahokia Heights. Cahokia Heights police asked the Major Case Squad, a unit of investigators from police departments throughout the region, to assist in the investigation after finding Nunn on Saturday, police said. Police did not release more details.
