Davion Lanear

Police on Tuesday identified the 18-year-old man who was shot and killed late Sunday in north St. Louis County. Officers were called about 11:30 p.m. to the 10800 block of Lilac Avenue by a ShotSpotter notification. Police found evidence of a shooting, and Davion Lanear soon arrived at a hospital with gunshot wounds. He died at the hospital. Investigators said they believe Lanear was shot in the 10800 block of Lilac Avenue. Lanear lived in the 2800 block of Maurer Avenue in Velda City, police said.
