Daviyon Thomas

Daviyon Thomas, 34, of St. Louis died Aug. 8 from injuries he received in shooting at a restaurant in unincorporated St. Louis County in June. Prosecutors later charged Michael Griffin with first-degree murder, assault and armed criminal action. The shooting happened sometime after 2 a.m. on June 16 following an argument between Griffin, Thomas and another person in the restaurant, located in the 12400 block of Lusher Road, police reported. Thomas is accused of shooting one victim four times and then shooting Thomas in the back multiple times before fleeing. The other victim identified Griffin as the shooter by name and a photo lineup. Griffin's court hearing has not yet been scheduled.
