Derek Conway

Derek Conway, 36, was shot and killed just before 1:30 a.m. Thursday in the 4700 block of Goethe Avenue in the city's Princeton Heights neighborhood. Police arrested Erick Clark, 36, at the scene, and he was charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and burglary. According to charging documents, Clark and Conway were friends, and Clark shot Conway after catching him having sex with his wife. Conway lived in the 3400 block of Oregon Avenue, on the edge of the city's Benton Park West and Gravois Park neighborhoods.
