Derrick Johnson

The man killed in a double shooting in the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood earlier this month has been identified as Derrick Johnson, police said Monday. Johnson, 48, of St. Louis, was fatally shot Oct. 20 in the 3800 block of Garfield Avenue. He was found on the sidewalk about 5:45 p.m. that day and died at the scene. He had been shot multiple times, police said. Another man, 52, was found in the street. He had been shot once and was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police have not made an arrest in the double shooting.
