Don Devargas

A St. Louis County man was found shot dead in a vacant residence in the 4700 block of Cote Brilliante on July 27. Authorities found 34-year-old Don Devargas in "advanced stages of decomposition" around 2:30 p.m. when the fire department forced their way into the residence. When authorities found him, Devargas's clothes had bullet holes in them. Police did not say how long he had been dead. The homicide division is investigating the case.
