Eddie Randle Jr., 19, was killed, and three others were injured in a shooting late Saturday night in the Midtown neighborhood, police say. Police say the violence occurred around midnight in the 3000 block of Olive Street, a commercial area north of Harris-Stowe State University. A large crowd had gathered when multiple gunshots were fired. Three people were taken to hospitals for treatment. Randle, of the Hamilton Heights neighborhood, was pronounced dead. Another 19-year-old man was listed in stable condition. A woman whose age was not released received treatment for a minor gunshot wound and left before police could speak with her. An 18-year-old woman suffered an apparent graze wound and refused medical treatment. A homicide investigation is ongoing.
