George O. Long

BEVERLY HILLS — A St. Louis County man was charged Tuesday with killing his father. Kristian Long, 41 is charged with second-degree murder in the killing of George O. Long, 74, whose body was discovered in the bathtub of a home last week. Police were called last week for a welfare check in the 7000 block of Hunter Avenue in Beverly Hills, and they found George O. Long with multiple injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Kristian Long admitted in an interview to striking his father multiple times before placing his body in the bathtub and covering it with bleach and olive oil. According to the police report, George O. Long died from blunt force trauma to the chest and back sometime between Jan. 22 and Jan. 24. Kristian Long is being held at the St. Louis County Justice Center on a $250,000 cash bond.
