Jeffery Bell

The victim is 62-year-old Jeffery Bell, who was found July 19 in the 1500 block of Olive Street with what looked like stab wounds in his chest. He was acting combatively, police said. Officers believed he may have been suffering from a drug overdose so they administered Narcan before medics arrived. Bell was then taken to a hospital, where he died. Police announced Tuesday that Bell's death was classified as a homicide after a police investigation and a ruling from the Medical Examiner's Office. No arrests have been made. Bell lived in the 1200 block of North 13th Street.
