Jordan Gunn

Jordan Gunn, 19, was shot in the chest around 3:30 p.m. at the busy Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink station. She died at a hospital. Karina Whitfield, who is now 18 but was 17 at the time of her arrest, was later charged as an adult with first-degree murder and armed criminal action. The platform was crowded at the time of the shooting, said St. Louis police Lt. Adam Duke, but "everyone scattered" at the sound of the gunshot. Gunn lived in the 1100 block of Natural Bridge Avenue. Kevin Scott, general manager of security at Bi-State Development, which operates MetroLink, said in a statement, “We are saddened at the events which transpired this afternoon. We are not immune to the plague of violent crimes which affect our region.”
