Marco Deloch

Police arrested a man Thursday in connection to a fatal shooting of a teenager in the Walnut Park East neighborhood. Prosecutors charged 25-year-old Dominic Cody, of the city's Dutchtown neighborhood, with first-degree murder, robbery and two counts of armed criminal action for shooting and killing Marco Deloch, 16, of the 4800 block of Farlin Avenue. On Aug. 11, officers received a call for a shooting in the 5500 block of Genevieve Avenue shortly after 6:30 p.m. Officers found Deloch shot in the chest in an alley. He was taken to an area hospital, where he later died.
