FERGUSON — An 18-year-old man faces murder and other charges in connection with the fatal shooting of another man in Ferguson Thursday night. Darrell Taylor, of the 15000 block of Cove Lane in north St. Louis County, was charged with second-degree murder in the case. Taylor was being held in the St. Louis County Jail without bond. Ferguson police responding to a report of shots fired found the victim in the driver’s seat of a car in the 300 block of South Harvey Avenue with multiple gunshot wounds. The incident took place about 8:30 p.m. The victim, whose name wasn’t released, was pronounced dead at the scene. According to court records, a witness saw shooting inside the vehicle, then saw an individual leave the car, run to the passenger side and fire again before fleeing. Two bags of marijuana were found outside the car near the passenger side, police said.
