An early morning shooting in Downtown West has resulted in the death of one man. The victim was found shot in the head just after 4:30 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of 16th Street and Washington Avenue. He was breathing but not conscious when he was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting.
