The Major Case Squad is searching for the killer who shot a man inside a vehicle Sunday night. The 45-year-old victim was found about 11 p.m. in the 6100 block of Jefferson Avenue, south of Airport Road. His name was not released. Police said he died at a hospital. About 15 investigators with the Major Case Squad are working with Berkeley police. Authorities did not say if they have a suspect or motive in the case.
