Reginald Campbell

A man was shot dead early Wednesday in a White Castle restaurant parking lot in north St. Louis. The victim was killed at 2009 Hebert Street, and officers were called at about 1:45 a.m. Wednesday. Police have not released the man's name. He was found dead in the driver's seat of a parked car. The killing was in the Old North St. Louis neighborhood. St. Louis has had at least 87 homicides so far this year. Numbers released by the St. Louis Police Department show that the year-to-date homicide count is the lowest in a decade.
