St. Louis police say the man was driving with his girlfriend, 29, when an argument broke out just before midnight. The man pulled into North Riverfront Park and began assaulting the woman by repeatedly punching her in the face and choking her while on top of her. The woman then pulled out a knife and stabbed him, police said. He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
