Rion Robinson, 39, was shot to death on Jan. 19 outside a laundromat in the city's Dutchtown neighborhood. Robinson was shot in the leg and torso. Police wrote in court documents that Robinson was likely alive for 13 hours after the shooting. He laid on the sidewalk in the 5200 block of South Grand Boulevard until he died. Three men have been charged in connection with his killing: Anthony Hill, 47, was charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and unlawful possession of a firearm. Tyrelle Henley, 39, and Calvin Anderson, 48, were both charged with second-degree murder, armed criminal action, third-degree assault and tampering with physical evidence. Surveillance video showed the three men assaulted Robinson before the shooting, hitting him and at one point throwing a bike at him, police said. The men filmed the attack on Henley's cell phone. Henley told police he later deleted the video and threw away the phone.
