Robert Prewett

A shooting victim who died Wednesday in north St. Louis County has been identified as 92-year-old Robert Prewett. Prewett was killed in the 6900 Block of Parc Charlene Drive in unincorporated north St. Louis County. Prewett's home was in that block. Police released his name Thursday but said little about the homicide. Officers from the county's North Precinct were called to that block for a shooting at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday. Prewett died at the scene. Police have not said if county investigators have any suspects or a motive in the case. Parc Charlene Drive is a dead-end road off of Benham Road and near Lewis and Clark Boulevard.
