Sarah Howell

Howell began teaching as a physical education teacher at Confluence Academies in 2009. She became South City's assistant middle school principal in 2018. Police say an officer tried to pull over John Brink, who was about 18, while he was driving south on Kirkwood Road without a front license plate. But Brink sped away, ran a red light on Big Bend, an officer wrote in charging documents, and crashed into Howell's car near Geyer Road.
