A man is accused of shooting and killing his brother Monday afternoon during an argument inside their home in Pine Lawn. Officers were called about 4:30 p.m. to the 3700 block of Salome Avenue, said Major Ron Martin of the North County Police Cooperative. A 33-year-old man had been shot by his 24-year-old brother during an argument, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The younger brother ran away after the shooting but was arrested about a block from the home, Martin said. Police were able to confiscate the gun used in the shooting, and other family members were present during the argument and are cooperating with police, Martin said. Neither man's name had been released as of Tuesday morning.
