William Person

William Person, 31, of Alton, Illinois, died Friday at an area hospital from wounds he suffered during a quadruple shooting Wednesday in the city's Academy neighborhood. Person was one of four people shot Wednesday in the 5000 block of Kensington Avenue. Two others — Qua’nell Robinson and Taylor Richards, both 21-year-old residents of Florissant — died on Wednesday. The fourth victim, a 21-year-old man, was struck by a bullet in the arm. A police spokesperson said Wednesday that detectives believe at least two people in a vacant lot exchanged gunfire.
